Object Narrative
You can now run Narratives on any repository object (e.g. Processes, activities, resources etc.), with full support for all applicable sections. This expands the reach of Narratives beyond process diagrams, enabling broader documentation and insight across your repository.
For ease-of-use, you will find now a new default narrative report, named Repository Object Narrative in your repository.
You can change or delete your default narratives as repository administrator under Repository → Advanced → Narrative Options.
Further enhancements to the Narrative feature are already on our roadmap—stay tuned!

Diagram creation method now tracked in history
To help champions and admins better understand how diagrams are created, we now log the specific creation method in the History tab of each diagram. Whether a diagram was created via template, Quickmap, Pia, or copied from another diagram or imported from Visio, IGXW, or BPMN.
This enhancement enables deeper insight into user behavior and supports tracking the adoption of creation tools like Pia and Quickmaps.
In our next release, we will also provide the ability to report on this information via our IQL reporting engine.

New Shape in Value Stream Maps - Cross Dock
We’ve added a Cross Dock shape to Value Stream Maps. It behaves like a VSM Process Shape , which is shown as an activity in the timeline, and supports both a header and body text. This new shape allows for more detailed and accurate modeling of cross-docking and logistics processes.

Search - Improved Search Filter Behavior
We’ve refined the search filter experience for better performance and clarity. Object type filters now correctly update to reflect only the types returned in your search results.
Additionally, filter selection buttons are now read-only while a search is in progress to prevent accidental changes. Filters are only applied after clicking the new Apply button—helping avoid overlapping requests and improving responsiveness.

For Administrators: Overallocation Messages are back
We brought back the popup that informs users with Manage license permission upon login that one or more licenses are currently overallocated. This allows the user to quickly take action to resolve the conflict.
Overallocation of a license, meaning assigning more licenses than available, renders the license invalid for all users consuming this license. This can lead to users not being able to login and perform their work.

In the license area, there is now a clear warning that the license limit is reached.

Simulation - Improved resource visibility during simulation
A new Resources panel has been added to the case details view in simulation. It shows which resources a case has already acquired and which it is still waiting for—making it easier to understand delays and dependencies at a glance.
Simulation - Support Messages
Simulation now supports cross-process BPMN behavior through messaging constructs. Users can define custom messages in Run Setup, and specify how messages are sent or received (to messaging partners) directly within the Task tab, on message Generators, and on message Inputs gates. During simulation, messages are sent and received across processes as expected, allowing for accurate modeling of inter-process communication. Data (Case Variables) can be sent / received with the message flow. Message gates and generators now fully participate in simulation logic, enabling more realistic and connected process scenarios.

Early Access Features
This feature is part of our Early Access program. Your system administrator can enable this feature for your entire organization. How to enable Early Access features
Pia - Now supports the default diagram theme
We are happy to announce that diagrams created with Pia now also support using the default diagram setting that is configurable per repository.
A repository administrator can set the diagram theme under repository → Customization → Diagram Theme
Here a demo of the Black/White diagram theme using Pia:
