Microsoft Office Links do not work in SSO scenarios
Problem
When following Hyperlinks in Word Documents or Excel documents that link to the iGrafx Platform, the user is always prompted for credentials and does not get forwarded to the target of the link after logging in.
Solution
This is a known problem with Microsoft Office applications, as they are not respecting cookies stored within the browser, even if you have already authenticated using the browser that is being used to open the link. There is no simple solution for this problem as Microsoft has no plans of changing this behavior.
