Font alignment issues with Japanese text in IE 11
Problem
Meiryo UI is the "standard" Japanese font that our CSS specifies as one of its font-family fallbacks. If you do not have it on your system, you may get a different font which may lead to alignment issues.
Solution
How to install fonts that are missing on Windows 10:
- Click Start > Settings.
- In Settings, click Time & language, and then click Region & language.
- If Japanese is not included in the list of languages, click the plus sign (+) to add a language.
- Find Japanese, and then click it to add it to your language list.
