Risk Materiality

Calculations

This is calculated using the following checks. If any of these evaluate to true then it will consider the current risk data point as material. Otherwise as long as there is a threshold value it will evaluate to false. If there is no threshold value it will evaluate as empty in the report

CODE
initial Regulatory Impact = Medium or initial Regulatory Impact = High // Material is true
initial Reputational Impact = Medium or initial Reputational Impact = High // Material is true
initial Finanical Impact * (initial likelihood / 100) >= Materiality Threshold value // Material is true
initial Finanical Impact * (initial likelihood / 100) >= Category Threshold value // Material is true

Update information

Frequency:

  • Queues up changes and if no more changes have happened for 15 seconds then it updates the risk materiality for all the effected objects

Update conditions:

  • Adding a new Materiality threshold value

  • Changing the Materiality threshold value

  • Removing a Risk Relevant object from the Repository Configuration → Risks → ICS Risks page

  • Adding a new data point for an ICS risk

  • Updating an existing ICS risk data point

  • Deleting an existing ICS risk data point

  • Adding a new threshold override for a risk category

  • Changing an existing threshold override
