iGrafx Platform versions 17.2.2 and later include augmented security features that will not allow 17.x Desktop Clients prior to 17.2.2 from connecting to a 17.2.2 or later Platform by default.

Users attempting to connect from an older Desktop Client will get a "403 Forbidden" error on login.

For purposes of staged deployment, the augmented security requirements for the Desktop Client can be disabled on the Platform until all Desktop Clients can be updated to the 17.2.2 release or later.
