Desktop Client: Links to files in published PDF cannot be opened

When using iGrafx to publish a diagram into a PDF format, you may discover that the links to external files cannot be opened.

This is usually caused by an older version of the Adobe Reader (version 7.x or earlier). Upgrading the client Adobe Reader to the latest version resolves this issue.
