Advanced repository settings
This reference lists every setting on the Advanced page of the Repository area. The page requires the Manage Repository Configuration repository permission, and changes save as you make them.
Narrative Options
The default narrative template used for each context. Click Change to pick a different narrative.

Appearance Options

| Do not show file extensions for iGrafx documents and external files | Hides the file extension for those items. |
| Sort folders with files | Sorts folders and files together. |
| Show unapproved object icons as semi-opaque | Shows the icons of objects without an approved version as semi-transparent. |
Performance Options
Folders containing thousands of objects can slow navigation and search, so you can limit the number of objects shown at once.

Diagrams
Settings for web-authored diagrams.

| Default zoom level | Fit all or 100% when a diagram opens. |
| Default grid | The grid new diagrams show. |
| Template Folder | A folder whose diagrams are offered as templates when users create a diagram. Click Change to pick it. |
| iGrafx Templates | Shows or hides each built-in template — BPMNBPMN An ISO/OMG standard graphical notation for modeling business processes. Process360 Live uses BPMN 2.0 for design and simulation artifacts., Generic, Journey Map, Navigation, ArchiMate, and Value Stream Map. See the note below on hiding every one of them. |

| QuickMap | Offers QuickMap as a Start with option when users create a diagram. |
Hiding every iGrafx template with no Template Folder set closes off only the Diagram View option under Start with, which needs a template to open from and reports that none are available. Pia, QuickMap, and Import a file are unaffected — each offers a template but doesn't require one. Each has its own switch: QuickMap above, and Pia - Process Intelligence Assistant (for Diagram Creation) under AI Settings.
Sidebar Panel Behaviors
Each behavior is a separate checkbox:
- Show the Web Diagram Narrative panel for links to shapes in diagrams
- Show the Web Diagram Narrative panel when entering Paths mode
- Show the Web Diagram Describes panel when opening an object with action required or coming from the diagram gadget
- Allow navigating between related objects in the Describes panel of web-based diagrams — see Describes relationships.
IGX Diagrams
Settings for diagrams authored with the iGrafx desktop client.
