Repository Configuration
Repository Configuration covers everything a repository administrator sets up for one repository — the Repository area of the product. It is separate from Platform Administration, which applies to the whole installation.
Open the area through Repository in the navigation rail. Each page heading names the repository you are configuring. Every page requires a repository permission — most need Manage Repository Configuration, and the pages for custom properties, cycle groups, risks, controls, and object types have their own permissions, listed on each page.
Properties
- Configure custom properties — add fields of your own to repository objects and diagram elements.
- Choose item properties to display — pick which properties show on the Item Properties tab and in object list tables.
Policies and notifications
- Set repository policies — version numbering, Describes relationship rules, required comments, default object owner, digital signatures, and hidden root folders.
- Set repository email notifications — which cycle and watched-object events send email, and to whom.
Cycles
- Manage repository cycle groups — create and maintain the named groups that review, approve, endorse, and acknowledge items. Using cycles is covered in Governance.
Risks and controls
- Configure risks — risk types, categories, impact/likelihood/appetite parameters, and the risk matrix.
- Configure controls — control types, control ratings, and key/non-key weighting.
- Configure ICS risks — risk-relevant objects, materiality thresholds, and impact classes (Early Access).
Object types and resources
- Configure object types — the type lists for Performance Indicators, Journeys, Capabilities, and Opportunities.
- Configure resources — the resource type hierarchy, and linking platform users to the resources that represent them.
Appearance and languages
- Customize a repository's appearance — theme, chart color scheme, default diagram theme, and navbar logo.
- Configure repository languages — the content languages a repository supports and its main language.
Advanced
- Advanced repository settings — default narratives, display options, diagram defaults and templates, sidebar panel behaviors, and QuickMap.
