Overview
Cloud — SCIM
The Cloud offering supports user and group synchronization via System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) 2.0 only — the protocol widely supported by modern identity providers. Set it up with the per-vendor guides (Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, Okta) or the generic SCIM guide for any other provider. The provisioning FAQ covers common questions.
Data Center — LDAP / Active Directory
SCIM 2.0 isn't available in the Data Center offering — synchronization uses LDAP / Active Directory. The integration can import specific subsets of users and groups and refresh on a schedule or on demand. See Import users and groups from Active Directory (LDAP).
If you use Microsoft Entra ID, you can also use it as a proxy to your internal Active Directory through Microsoft Entra Domain Services.
