This section applies to on-premises (Datacenter) installations only. It isn't relevant if you use iGrafx Process360 LiveProcess360 Live iGrafx's cloud platform for end-to-end process management — combining process design, mining, simulation, and automation in a single environment. Cloud.
This guide covers installing the iGrafx platform on your own servers and keeping it running. A new installation has four main steps:
- Set up the database that holds the platform's repositories.
- Deploy the application server.
- Connect the platform to the database and complete setup.
- Create a repository in Platform Administration.
Some steps — such as configuring a proxy — are optional, depending on your infrastructure, and some overlap with day-to-day platform administration.
Install
- Server sizing recommendations — plan processor, memory, and disk.
- Database setup — install SQL Server and create the databases and user.
- Deploy the iGrafx platform — base directories, WAR deployment, and the pre-deployed Windows package.
Configure after deployment
- Post-deployment steps — connect to the database, authentication, clustering, SSL, proxy, and logging.
