Governance
Governance is how your organization formalizes agreement on repository content and manages its end of life. Use cycles to have the right people review, approve, endorse, or acknowledge an item, and use archiving with retention policies to retire content in a controlled, auditable way.
Start here
- Cycles — what the four cycle types do and how a cycle runs from start to finish.
Run cycles
- Set up a cycle group — define who takes part and in what order.
- Start and manage a cycle — start, monitor, schedule, and cancel cycles.
- Act on your to-do items — the participant's side: vote, review, endorse, or acknowledge.
- Approval gates — what approval enforces: who sees approved versus unapproved content, and the policies that gate votes.
Retire content
- Data retention and archiving — archive objects, restore them, and control when archived content is destroyed.
