Enterprise Model and Objects
Everything in a repository — processes, resources, risks, diagrams, files — is an item in one model. This section explains that model and covers the everyday work of creating, organizing, tracking, and translating items. Diagram authoring itself lives in Diagramming.
Understand the model
- Repository and object model — the repository tree, root folders, and how objects and folders fit together.
- Enterprise object catalog — every object type, what it represents, and where it lives.
- Object relationships — the relationship types that connect objects, including RACI and work product flows.
- Item properties and custom properties — the data an item carries and where it's edited.
Work with items
- Manage items — create, copy, rename, move, delete, restore, and relate items.
- View an item's history — the History tab: timeline, versions, and approved versions.
- Watch an item — get notified when an item changes.
- Find where an item is used — describing diagrams and incoming relationships.
- Make bulk changes — change relationships, change the process ownerProcess Owner The person accountable for a specific business process — its design, performance, and improvement. The primary stakeholder for mining and simulation outputs., or delete and archive many objects at once.
