Connect Claude to Access360

Add Access360Access360 The licensed add-on that connects AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot Studio to Process Design through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Prerequisites​

  • Requires Access360Access360 The licensed add-on that connects AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot Studio to Process Design through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The assistant acts as the signed-in iGrafx account, with that account's permissions. to be set up for your platform, and your platform's MCP Server URL. Your iGrafx administrator copies the URL from Admin → Server Settings → AI Settings and gives it to you. See step 6 of Set up Access360.
  • Requires the Access MCP server permission on your account.
  • On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an owner of your Claude organization adds the connector once for everyone (part 1). On an individual Claude plan, you add it yourself.
  • If your platform still uses the classic iGrafx Login, you need an API key for your account until it moves to the iGrafx IdentityiGrafx Identity The iGrafx identity and access management service that brokers authentication between customer identity providers and Process360 Live components. Supported versions​

Custom connectors are available on Claude's paid plans, in Claude on the web and in the Claude desktop app. The menu names below follow Anthropic's guide Get started with custom connectors using remote MCP; if your Claude screens differ, follow that guide for where things are, and use the values on this page.

Configuration​

Part 1 — Add the connector (Claude organization owner)​

  1. In Claude, open Organization settings → Connectors.

  2. Click Add, then choose a custom connector. The Add custom connector dialog opens.

  3. Enter a name your colleagues will recognize, such as iGrafx Process Design, and paste your platform's MCP Server URL as the address. It has this shape, with your region (com, eu, or jp) and your platform's tenant ID filled in:

    https://process-design-mcp.svc.igrafxcloud.<region>/<tenant-id>

  4. Click Continue. Claude checks the address and marks the settings it detects:

    • Under Authentication, keep Sign in now. Each person then signs in with their own account before they can use the connector.
    • Under OAuth client, keep Register automatically.

  5. Leave Request headers empty and click Add.

On an individual Claude plan, open Customize → Connectors, click Add custom connector, and enter the same name and address.

Part 2 — Connect your account (each person)​

  1. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors and find the iGrafx connector, labeled Custom.
  2. Click Connect. An iGrafx authorization page opens.
  3. Sign in:
    • Click Sign in with iGrafx and sign in with your iGrafx account.
    • Only if your platform still uses the classic iGrafx Login: click Connect with an API key instead, paste your key into API Key, and click Authorize.
  4. Back in Claude, the connector shows as connected.

To use it in a chat, open the tools menu in the message box and turn on the iGrafx connector.

Verify​

In a chat with the connector turned on, ask: "Which iGrafx user am I connected as?" Claude answers with your name in Process DesignProcess Design The discipline of explicitly modeling business processes to document, analyze, and optimize them. Troubleshooting​

  • Sign in with iGrafx is rejected — your platform probably still uses the classic iGrafx Login. Until it moves to the iGrafx IdentityiGrafx Identity The iGrafx identity and access management service that brokers authentication between customer identity providers and Process360 Live components. Solution, connect with an API key. See How Access360 signs in.
  • Claude says MCP connectivity is disabled, or that you don't have permission — an administrator needs to switch on MCP Connectivity or grant you Access MCP. See Messages an assistant reports.
  • Claude can't find a repository — assistants may not be allowed to reach it. Ask your administrator.
