In Process360 Live, process design is the authoring side that complements mining's data-driven view.. You can then ask the assistant about your processes, risks, controls, and other repository content in your own words, and have it make changes for you.

Overview
Access360Access360 The licensed add-on that connects AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot Studio to Process Design through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The assistant acts as the signed-in iGrafx account, with that account's permissions. is built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that lets an AI assistant work with another application. You add your platform's MCP Server URL to your assistant once and sign in. After that, the assistant uses Process DesignProcess Design The discipline of explicitly modeling business processes to document, analyze, and optimize them. In Process360 Live, process design is the authoring side that complements mining's data-driven view. whenever a request needs it.
The assistant works as the account it signed in with: your iGrafx account, or the account an API key belongs to. Process DesignProcess Design The discipline of explicitly modeling business processes to document, analyze, and optimize them. In Process360 Live, process design is the authoring side that complements mining's data-driven view. applies that account's permissions and licenses to every request, so the assistant can see and change only what the account can. Its changes are recorded under that account's name.
What an assistant can do
What's available depends on your permissions, and on which features of Pia, the AI assistant built into Process360 LiveProcess360 Live iGrafx's cloud platform for end-to-end process management — combining process design, mining, simulation, and automation in a single environment., your administrator has turned on. Within those limits, an assistant can:
- Find and read content — search the repository, run a report, and read objects with their properties and relationships.
- Show diagrams and documents — render a web diagram as an image, build a narrative report as a Word or PDF document, and open stored files.
- Create and update content — create and update objects, link them with relationships, edit web diagrams, and add files to the repository.
- Draft diagrams with Pia — describe a process and have Pia draft a diagram, then create it in the repository.
- Propose changes for review — when your organization uses proposals, suggest new objects or changes for a reviewer to accept, instead of making them directly.
- Record performance data — read and update the data points of a time-based performance indicator.
Example requests
- "Which processes in the Finance repository have no process ownerProcess Owner The person accountable for a specific business process — its design, performance, and improvement. The primary stakeholder for mining and simulation outputs.?"
- "Show me the diagram for the invoice approval process."
- "List the risks linked to the Order to Cash process, with their controls."
- "Create a draft diagram for onboarding a new supplier, based on this description."
- "Download the narrative report for the Purchase Requisition process as a PDF."
- "Propose a new activityActivity A named step in a process (e.g. "Approve Invoice"). Each event in an event log records one activity occurrence for one case. called Verify supplier tax ID under Supplier Onboarding."
Because an assistant is a generative AI tool, it can be wrong. Review what it reports and what it changes before you rely on it.
Key concepts
- MCP Server URL — the address your assistant connects to. Your administrator copies it from the AI Settings page.
- Connector — what an assistant calls a connected application. Claude and ChatGPT call it a connector or app; Copilot Studio adds it to an agent as a tool.
- Individual and shared accounts — people normally connect with their own iGrafx accounts. Backend services and agents can share one dedicated account through an API key. See Individual and shared accounts.
Data handling
When you connect an AI assistant, the content it reads from Process360 LiveProcess360 Live iGrafx's cloud platform for end-to-end process management — combining process design, mining, simulation, and automation in a single environment. — such as diagrams, objects, reports, and the files it opens for you — is sent to that assistant's provider. The provider processes it under your organization's agreement with them, not under your agreement with iGrafx. Check that the assistant's data handling meets your organization's requirements before you connect it, and use the repository settings to limit which repositories assistants can reach.
